Athletic Angels is a 501(c)(3) founded out of a deep desire to utilize our resources and relationships to help those in need in the most practical and tangible ways possible.
Athletic Angels Foundation is dedicated to providing underprivileged and at-risk youth in our communities with vital resources, opportunities, experiences, and mentoring. Through the facilitation of sports-related environments, we support the youth of today in the fields of life, providing growth opportunities within athletics while cultivating the character, intellect, and interpersonal skills to achieve excellence in their futures.

History
Founded by Mike Barwis, the Athletic Angels Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with a history spanning over two decades. In his days as a collegiate strength coach Mike would develop relationships with impoverished kids who lived near the football stadium. He would connect them with his athletes, ensure they received gifts and food during the holiday season, and provide ways for them to experience joy and mentorship with high-profile role models.
